| DEVASTATING TORNADOES HIT THE SOUTH |

Several severe tornadoes and storms cut a path through the south on Saturday, April 24th. At least 10 people, 3 of which were children, were killed in Mississippi, and many more were injured. At least 100 homes were destroyed in Yazoo County. Yazoo City sustained tremendous damage with destroyed church buildings, homes, & businesses.
Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Effort, Inc. sent its first truck to Yazoo City at 1:00 AM on Tuesday, April 27th. This truck will unload and return to Nashville as quickly as possible, so that it can reload and return with more supplies. Truck loads of water are being drop-shipped. Our 2nd truck is going out on April 27th to Albertville, Alabama, which was also hit very hard on Saturday with tornadoes.
